Ingredients

- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 lb whole raw almonds (or pecans)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons kosher salt
Recipe
- 1 turn slow cooker to high and place butter in crock; allow butter to melt.
- 2 once melted, turn slow cooker to low.
- 3 add the nuts and stir to coat with the butter.
- 4 cover and cook on low for 2 hrs, stirring several times while cooking.
- 5 when done cooking, add the salt and toss to coat.
- 6 let nuts cool, uncovered, then store in tightly sealed container.
