Buttered Roasted Almonds - 4g Net Carbs

Total Time: 2 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 lb whole raw almonds (or pecans)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons kosher salt

Recipe

  • 1 turn slow cooker to high and place butter in crock; allow butter to melt.
  • 2 once melted, turn slow cooker to low.
  • 3 add the nuts and stir to coat with the butter.
  • 4 cover and cook on low for 2 hrs, stirring several times while cooking.
  • 5 when done cooking, add the salt and toss to coat.
  • 6 let nuts cool, uncovered, then store in tightly sealed container.
