- 1 1/2 lbs asparagus
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup grated gruyere cheese
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
- 2 cut or break off tough ends of asparagus. wash asparagus in cool running water, and drain well. arrange asparagus in single layer in ungreased 11x7-inch baking dish. sprinkle with salt. cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350°f for 25 minutes or until asparagus is tender.
- 3 drizzle melted butter over asparagus; sprinkle cheese on top. return baking dish to oven for another 5 to 8 minutes, or until the cheese softens.
