Blueberry French Toast Bake

Ingredients

- 1 (16 ounce) package blueberries
- 1/4 cup real maple syrup
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 4 large eggs
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 loaf artisan bread
Recipe
- 1 pre-heat oven to 375.
- 2 butter 9x13 pan and pour in berries. stir in syrup, sugary and cornstarch until well blended with berries.
- 3 in a bowl whisk together eggs, milk and vanilla.
- 4 slice bread loaf into 3/4" to 1" slices and remove crust from slices.
- 5 dip bread slices into egg mixture and lay over berries. pour any remaining egg mixture over layered slices.
- 6 bake 35-40 minutes. serve hot!
