Ingredients
- 2 cups cornmeal
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Recipe
- 1 combine cornmeal, baking powder, soda and salt in a large bowl, add eggs, buttermilk, and oil, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
- 2 place in a well greased 10 inch cast iron skillet in a 450f oven for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
