Carrots Garam Masala

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb carrot, cut into matchsticks
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro leaf, for garnish

Recipe

  • 1 cook carrots until just tender, 10-15 min depending on size of carrots.
  • 2 melt butter in pan until browned.
  • 3 add garam masala, salt, ginger and red chili powder if using.
  • 4 cook 1 minute.
  • 5 add carrots and toss to coat.
  • 6 serve with cilantro leaves sprinkled on top as garnish.
