Carrots In Cumin-mustard Sauce

Ingredients

- 11 ounces carrots, whole or 10 ounces carrots, ready-cut sliced, about 2 cups
- 2 teaspoons unsalted butter, softened
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons coarse grain mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
Recipe
- 1 fill steamer with water and bring to a boil.
- 2 if using whole carrots, peel and slice them.
- 3 place carrots in steamer over boiling water and steam about 7 minutes.
- 4 combine butter, lemon juice, mustard, and cumin in serving dish and mix well.
- 5 when carrots are tender, drain and place in serving dish with butter mixture.
- 6 toss well to coat.
- 7 serve immediately.
