Ingredients
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 dash salt
- 3/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1 whole almonds (for garnish)
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350f.
- 2 combine sugar, egg, butter, extracts and salt.
- 3 mix in sliced almonds.
- 4 place 1 whole almond in each unbaked pastry shell, then spoon almond mixture on top, 3/4 full.
- 5 bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden.
